Hello! I came to teaching as a second career a few years ago.  I have worked as an occupational therapist in both healthcare and school settings for two decades. While working in the school setting as an OT, I was so inspired by the wonderful teachers with whom I worked that I decided I wanted to be part of this wonderful profession. This will be my third year teaching, and I am thrilled to be teaching middle school ELA.  When not at school, I am spending time with my husband and our three boys. I also sneak in as much reading for pleasure as I am able. I am very excited for the year ahead!
