Hi! My name is Shauna Lugenbeel and this will be my 18th year of teaching.  I have taught in NC public/charter schools for 10 years.  I have also taught in private schools in NC and GA for 7 years.  I have taught PreK-third grade, but first grade is my sweet spot! I love watching the students grow and gain independence academically, socially, and emotionally.  I am originally from Ohio but have lived in NC for more than half my life.  I am married and have 4 children, the youngest of which is in college.  When I am not teaching, I enjoy going to the beach, listening to music, being in nature, and watching or attending sports events with my husband.
