Lakeside's New Before & After School Program

If you need a break from rushing around in the morning, trying to get your kids ready for school and yourself ready for work, we've got a solution for you! We also have the answer to what your child can do after school to stay safe—introducing our new Before and After School Program (starting August 28, 2023). This is an exciting addition to Lakeside Charter Academy (Lakeside)!

A Family-Oriented Approach

We've always been like a family at Lakeside, and when one member needs help, we're ready to step in. Our program eases morning and afternoon routines for parents and offers a dynamic environment for students. Enrollees will have a blast with engaging activities and games while developing essential social and academic skills.

Our new program also offers flexibility for parents with varying schedules. Drop off your child as early as 7:00 AM and pick them up as late as 6 PM. We know that flexibility means a lot and offer this program to help you, as a parent, lower the stress of trying to coordinate pick-up times with work schedules and traffic. (We've been there and understand!)

New Program, New Face

To kick things off, we're thrilled to introduce our new teacher for the Before and After School Program, Ms. Christina Bryan. With several years of experience in education and a passion for working with children, Ms. Bryan will make a positive impact on our student's education and overall experience in the program.

Studies show that children in before and after school programs benefit from reduced risky behaviors, better physical health and improved academic performance, to name a few. Our program will also reinforce our fun way of tackling challenging curriculum. By providing a structured and engaging environment, we help students develop important skills like time management, responsibility, and problem-solving.
